YOUR HOLIDAYS: COVID-19 TRAVEL ADVICE
While in Greece, if you notice any symptoms related to COVID-19, please call the National Public Health Organization in 1135.
After July 1st random tests will be made to international passengers.
Due to constant changes on travel restrictions between countries, before booking a ticket, as well as before traveling, you are invited to check what applies to the country you want to travel from/to.
Since there is no vaccine for the novel coronavirus, it is essential that you postpone your trip if you have a fever and/or respiratory symptoms such as cough or shortness of breath.
Your personal care while traveling:
- Frequently cleaning your hands. By doing this you eliminate viruses that may be on your hands and avoid infection that could occur by then touching your eyes, mouth, and nose. Wash your hands regularly with soap and water or a disinfectant, especially after coughing or sneezing, before handling and consuming food.
- Avoid contact with patients who appear ill with respiratory symptoms.
- Wear a mask if you are coughing or sneezing or if you are taking care of a person with the suspected 2019-nCoV infection. Masks are effective only when used in combination with frequent hand-cleaning with alcohol-based hand rub or soap and water.
